They were made by Two's Company. I'm not sure if they still make them, and they only sell to designers and stores. You might google the company, canisters, green etc., and find them in a store or ebay online
color is Oro. I think the field tile are 4x4 and the subway are 3x6. It's been a while and I can't remember exactly. I think Walker Zanger might still cary the line, at the time it was the only one rated for kitchen counters.

Polished stone is still much Less slippery than glass, and with a small sized mosaic, having a grout line every 1/2 inch to 1 inch will greatly reduce the to potential to slip. You can use sanded grout too, but make sure the installed knows how

Possibly do something like the folding windows for the doors off of master going into sitting room. You could fold them and have them out of the way & still place a chair in front. Close them when needed.
