The extended rectangle of dark stone or concrete around the fireplace draws attention to the long rectangles of the room. The TV would have much more prominence if white tile framed the firebox

Can you tell me the manufacturer of the stone and the color?
The stone was a real stone cut from a quarry here in Utah. I'm not sure which one and unfortunately we don't have that information available to us. More often than not

"Sunken in" stones for walkway from hot tub area to firepit. Nice to mow over the area easily
This one has the outside edge we can go for without the wide gaps in between stones. No machine cutting the
pieces will need to be set in concrete for stability and longevity. Set your pieces out in a mosaic pattern, as shown, or arrange them end to end for a narrower pathway. Be sure to take a walk on your pathway before finishing the project to ensure that the spacing of your stones leads to a natural gait when
when you walk. If you are laying the stones without concrete or mortar, fill the gaps between them with mulch, pea gravel or plants that can be stepped on, like thyme or sedum.

Barn Fire Pit Terrace

Questions2
We created and built a wonderful space outside of the clients barn for entertaining. Stained concrete slabs with slate chips were used for the drive and pathways lined with granite edging. The fire pit is granite with a custom made iron fire grate. The client brought in a variety of chairs to be used
What are the stone slabs on patio?
Could you please share the name of the crushed stones/pea gravel? than
No, its not. Its a stone that has flat sides as opposed to a round one. The round ones roll and are difficult to walk on. A square/flat one can stack and hold pressure. Hope that helps. I believe these are bluestone chips.
