Farmhouse Addition
The addition acts as a threshold from a new entry to the expansive site beyond. A glass ribbon, weaving through the copper and stone facade, becomes a connector between old and new, top and bottom, inside and outside. Builder: Karl Snyder Photographer: Jeffrey Totaro

I love your gorgeous design... What color and material is your beautiful flooring?
If you're going to drop-in to the first level on this one, you'll need the grinded version http://www.duravit.us/website/homepage/products/product_overview/series/2nd_floor.us-en
it is quartzite. stone city in chicago carries. quartzite is very strong, but this material, due to the crystals, tends to "crumble", chip or crack very easily. lizette can help you if you call the warehouse.
Blue quartzite stone plus sink and counter
more permanent, patterned finish — like tile or stone — as a bold statement. The organic, flowing pattern and subtle color of the granite feature wall carries this powder room — no need for other decorative elements. Clever backlighting highlights the stone and emphasizes the floating vanity top.

Beautiful choice of stone! Can you tell me what stone this is? Thx.
Hi dphillips, I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you. If I remember correctly it is American Granite from Champlain Stone. I hope this helps and please let us know if you have any other questions!- Alec

What color is the house painted and what type of stone was used?
what is the square footage on the first floor?
Loribeth1-any luck with this? i would love to see the floor plan too.
designed homes by you. So to my question, no this wasn't completely about telling how amazing you are! Lol..., is there any way to get a copy of the floor plan? I have no intention of building an exact replica, so I wouldn't need a blueprint I just would like to see it and see if it could be modified and
and made smaller to fit my budget and area, in the unlikely event that finances allow its building. Lol... So basically , I'd love to see the floor plan so I can wish and dream! Thanks again for providing beautiful homes for all of us so we can wish and dream!

I see you have given info on the stone from general shale. It looks like the trim around the home and stairs is a brick(maybe I'm wrong) if so do you have any info on the brick maker and the specific color? Thanks in advance
Would you please share the details of the stone? We are looking for a cost effective but great looking product
