Traditional Patio
Is this pavestone or fake rock? Beautiful decking!
It is natural stone. Variegated Bluestone to be exact.
Like the stones and pattern for under our upper deck
Topped deck and like railings, although would require tempered glass to make meet code.
Pillars with lights and caste railings on the deck terrace/ terrace garden

What is the name of stone? And where can I buy it?
I want to make a deck by this stone and could you tell me how to make it and how much cost this stone? I am living in Virginia so where is the right place to order this stone. Thank you
can check with Charles Luck for this stone.
The stone is bluestone. In the Chicago area
great screening to close in under the raised deck.

What is the pool deck stone and coping style and color?
with salt water chlorination and the sandstone? Sun cause stone to lighten ? Problems with dirt?

Some pool contractors are moving away from the salt water due to the damage its doing to the plaster and pool decking surfaces. If you would like to speak with me please give our office

Stone also plays an important role in creating the desired character for this project. This stone terrace shown here uses a dry laid technique using Chief River veneer and full range random cut blue stone deck. Photo: Paul Crosby
Can you tell me how the deck is constructed. I'd love to do something similar.
This terrace has a block foundation on frost footings, back filled with a concrete slab poured on top. Stone veneer on vertical surface and random bluestone flag for deck surface. See pictures attached. Hope this helps.
I like these stones as a profile (the wall of the patio)

What is the stain and type of wood on the deck?
The deck is so beautiful!! How do you put lights in it?
They are a 1 watt LED deck light in copper, but you can get them in 316 grade stainless steel. They require a driver to run the lights and any qualified electrician can install

Hi. What type of stone was used for the decking and coping?
impact is minimized. Are the flagstones at the far end removable to access the cover? It seems like they are not mortared in like the coping and decking? Other lessons learned? I am very attracted to this option but want to minimize visual impact when cover is open.
Natural stone would not be frost free because it can absorb water. Frost free tile is manufactured to prevent water absorption which helps protect it from frost
Nice design! I am looking for 6x6 frost proof tiles for inside pool like these. Hard to find! can you tell me if any natural stone would be frost free & where these tiles came from? Many Thanks!
