base to edge of raised snack bar. There is a wall (of sorts) to support the snack bar. If you click on "more info" on the above photo there are other photos of this project and one of them shows the view from the other side of island.
to the edge of the raised bar near the chairs? is there any kind of a wall built behind the base cabinets to support the raised bar?
crisp white, soap stone, tannish paint on walls...all crisp and expected but with the pop of color in the interesting painting.

The edges are laminated, I don't know how to explain it properly but it is when you cut a strip of granite, glue it to the edge to give it a thicker profile.

wood and stone or tile. There are several types but the circulating hot water system works the best in a cold climate. And yes, great for allergies and dust! No more cold feet! Yay!
