Garden - Board-formed concrete pit topped with 3/8-inch-thick cold-rolled steel
The fire pit was the final backyard project. The couple had intended to purchase a self-contained fire pit but realized there weren’t many that fit the look and price they wanted. So they had a board-formed concrete pit poured and topped it with ⅜-inch-thick cold-rolled steel.Fireplace cap: prepared

for the fire pit, did you just dig a hole, use a metal fire ring and any particular stone? It's so beautiful!
The fire ring was built with boulders surrounding the pit and some recycled pavers were used for the bottom of the pit to line the bottom of the firepit. We agree it is beautiful. Thanks so much!

fire pit to replace water feature at 741 fair oaks?
like that it looks like a camp fire
well for fire pits. The circular shape allows for seating completely around the fire pit and has an organic form. Circular outdoor spaces also mesh well with natural landscaping and can easily be juxtaposed with the more rigid form of a home.

of the fire pit? Thank you!
Hi, thank you for the feedback so quickly. I am actually looking for the material that you used on the top of the fire pit. Is it granite??? I don't see any seams. Did you have it cut from one piece of granite? Is it polished or honed? Thank you

I fell in love with this fire pit months ago and have hired a mason to recreate it based on this picture. The dimensions would be a great help! Thank you for the inspiration!!
What is the name of the stone used ? Is it slate or flagstone ?
Was fire bricks used in the center? Is this gas?
What is the green between the stones?
The fire pit was custom built.
in the picture above. The moss will grow great in a moist environment, does not need sun and stays pretty flat. This is easy because you can do it yourself and won't need to hire a contractor or other professional. The flagstone and moss can be within a sitting area and (again) if your yard is large

joy a fire. OK, so maybe the weather hasn't turned warm yet where you are. If that's the case, throw a log on the fire and pretend.
This is not so much a "pit" as a fire bowl, which, when placed on a pedestal, bring the heat all little higher up — perfect for warming chilly hands.
fire pit. These not only look great but create wonderful outdoor spaces where you can warm up with your pals while toasting marshmallows.

This fire pit has a 3'-6" inner diameter with a 5'-6" outside diameter, as the cap is 1'-0" wide. It is about 16" above the patio. Hope this helps!
What a fantastic patio/fire-pit area. You guys did a fantastic job on all of the landscaping ! One thing that is becoming very popular in Colorado
extend the fire pit season to be year round due to the heat they release. They also give a patio a ski-resort look. In this case, it will only make this patio slightly nicer because of the great foliage surrounding but an improvement none-the-less ;-) Keep up the great work !!
