Additionally, some gas fireplaces require a specific clearance to furniture, drapes, etc., which is (coincidentally) usually about 36" or less.”

...but you should allow at least 36" for a walkway and heat”

“The Fireplace hearth is raised 1'-6". From the floor to the bottom of the wood mantel is 5'-7". The overall ceiling height in this room is 12' 2 3/4". Good luck with your fireplace I hope this info helped.”
