Would like to use Jerusalem stone for a fireplace wall. Can you tell me where I can obtain it?
I wish I could help you but the homeowner picked it out at some obscure stone yard. I would NOT use it for flooring like they did. It's like walking on the cobblestones in europe, Not recommended.
DSA Architects, yes I do agree with you this is what you call a faux Jerusalem Stone. It is not real old so they hyper antiqued it and wobbled the surface so it can look old. The real Antique Biblical Stone or Jerusalem Stone has much less red colors and is worn on the surface but is barely ondulated so

I don't think that is sandstone, it is another type of flagstone stone. Are you sure? The sandstone around here is all a sand color, pale rust.

5. Consider flooring options. The mudroom is a high traffic zone, often handling mud, snow and dirt, so think carefully about what you put on the floor. If you are starting from scratch, consider a hard-wearing material like stone or tile. Otherwise, cover existing flooring with a tough natural-fiber
