this floor in my house and am looking to get some more to renovate. Is it stillalvailable?
Where did the stone for the floor come from?

The stone floor is just a field stone floor. The wood floor is a mill run maple, with no stain.
of the stones in this entry way for our living room. In our search, we have found slate or quartzite in 6"x6" random sizes that are on mesh backing. We would like larger sizes like featured in this photo and do not need meshing (no thicker than 1/2 "). Can you please point us to a supplier in Virginia

is the floor made of ?
Would like to use Jerusalem stone for a fireplace wall. Can you tell me where I can obtain it?
Jerusalem Stone. It is not real old so they hyper antiqued it and wobbled the surface so it can look old. The real Antique Biblical Stone or Jerusalem Stone has much less red colors and is worn on the surface but is barely ondulated so it doesn't vary in thickness. We do carry the real thing. here's our
obscure stone yard. I would NOT use it for flooring like they did. It's like walking on the cobblestones in europe, Not recommended.
overall "Olde" look...stone floor, iron candlabra chandelier and stone floor
I like this, but am worried about a floor that feels too "bricky". Hard to clean? A smoother feeling tile may be what I prefer.

natural stone. Some sealants darken or even give a shiny look to otherwise honed or textured surfaces. If you’re considering a sealant for your stone, request a sample showing you different options, so you’ll know how the finished surface will look.

Consider flooring options. The mudroom is a high traffic zone, often handling mud, snow and dirt, so think carefully about what you put on the floor. If you are starting from scratch, consider a hard-wearing material like stone or tile. Otherwise, cover existing flooring with a tough natural-fiber rug or
