type of stone product has been used here? Thank you!
natural stone that came from a quarry in Alexandria, KY. Locally it is called Kentucky Bluestone.
from the stone in the photo.
Teal with Stone....surprisingly not too shabby.
predominantly stone, brick or some other material that isn't painted, you can select the right accent color by pulling out a color that exists in that material. For example, if your stonework has a soft pale green hue scattered throughout, selecting that color for details and trim elements can be quite nice

New Construction
The effect of the mantle in the dark wood with the light stone is beautiful, and perfectly complements the scale and look of the furniture. I am looking to replace a mantle that gets lost on a brick wall, and would like to know how this mantle was attached. Thanks for your inspiration
of the stone that you used for your fireplace?
is the stone fireplace and how wide are the built-ins that flank the fireplace?
If you used stone overlay on a fireplace, how do you set a 100 year old piece of wood for the mantle? It is extremely heavy.
masons stone/brick around it. 2. install wood blocking that would be flush with finished stone/brick then set mantle and fasten to wood blocking. I love the ceiling detail. Looks simple with just drywall but really sets this room off.
