Yes, a planter area with different lush plants next to the master would work great. Any type of stone that replicates those used on the house could be used here. I do like the bench seat incorporated here. I would also suggest that a more shower "ceiling" be created rather that the typical

Could have subway tile. With some colored intermixed.
Subway Tile with customer dots. You should be able to find onyx at most any tile shop that carries stone tiles.
