The stone and shingle look shines in Greenwich, Connecticut. This gorgeous home shows that even a touch of stone, like this fabulous chimney, can lend dimension and variety to an exterior.

name of stone on this house? Thank you, Mary
How did you go from stucco to stone? Did you have to change the foundation or structure at all?
grey stone but am hesitant to go with arctic white hardie plank and was looking for examples. This looks great and wanted to know if the siding is hardie plank & the color.

I'm looking for colors of stone veneer for a fireplace and this one came up.
Stone veneer is from Gallegos, a Colorado construction services company that specializes in masonry, stucco, plaster, concrete, marble, granite, tile and art rock. The stone is a natural blend of colors with a distinctive mortar. You can view examples of their stone at: http://www.gallegoscorp

Suburban Modern
Love the house, what was the stone that was used?
What type of stone was used and size? How was if fix to the structure?
exterior stone is a flamed face Bluestone that was quarried out of Vermont specifically for this house.
WHo did the chimney cap on the fireplaces
found the chimney cap you were looking for. This detail was specified by the architect and we did the interior design so I don't have the source.
Blue stone color and tile size
blue grey stone - combine this with natural wood siding
Overall look and smoothness of stone
Like the brick for our chimney
— four chimneys, two at either end of rectangular gable volumes. Each chimney bookends and stands out through their exaggerated height. Nevertheless they are wrapped in the same stone as the rest of the house; perhaps this gesture helps make the project modern.
