Could you tell me what the raised patio stones are?
Maybe use one of the boulders as a corner for a future stone wall.
walkways and walls-general style with outdoors
I like the color/shape of the stone walkway
The main route to the pool house is from the east, up a stone walkway that is carefully inserted into the landscape. From this side we see the glass entry straight ahead and the gable of the gym on the right.

Love the walkway! what are the demensions of the stones?
Is the walkway cemented down (the stone blocks) and what are the stones? Would this work in the east coast with winters?
It is a blue stone that is buried into the ground. Also, it should be fine to use on the east coast.

Love your walkway.... Need source info for slate and brick. colors chosen or specific description if possible.
Love this look. We live in central Florida and want to re do our front entrance. Is the blue stone slippery when wet? We have a earth tone brick house with salmon and orange. The brick borders are brilliant for step safety.
Slate is an exceptional walkway material because it doesn't absorb
not personally crazy about this walkway, too formal
brick and stone also the tall cypress/cedar trees
16. Anchor tall plantings. In this San Francisco garden, white tulips lend a pristine formality to a brick-edged, curved stone walkway. Punctuated with columnar evergreens, the look is understated and timeless, and can be easily switched once the flowers fade.

Everything is beautifully composed. I really like the linear stone walkway with the rocks in between. What kind of stone is that and where do you buy something of that nature? I don't know what kind of place to contact locally for that type/shape of stone.
recommend you show this photo to your landscaper or go to your local stone supplier (these were supplied by Santa Barbara Stone in Santa Barbara, CA). They are large slabs of Oklahoma stone (called "Cherokee Creek" or "Three Rivers" stone here locally).
nice arrangement of plants and walkway
Monolithic stone slabs over soil. Pebble joints add permeability and textural interest. Visually, and in terms of resource consumption, this is so much lighter on the land than a solid walk.
