is a tiny meadow meadow leading to a garden room resembling an ancient ruin- an idyll where lovers met in secret? The 'floor' inside the crumbling stone walls is an Italian mosaic tile floor with plants growing through the cracks. The 'ceiling' is formed by the canopies of 4 statuesque olive trees.
A fountain that was once the laundry trough on a French estate provides the a trickle that cools the body and erases mundane thoughts. Stone urns announce the entrance; at night they are gas-lit to set the mood for the ultimate romantic midnight picnic. Photographs by Mayita Dinos

the stone wall is very different from the usual - what type is it ?
is the floor surface stone or stamped concrete?
of my recollection it came in multi-stone pieces.

Would you mind telling me the name/manufacturer of the brick and stone? Lovely home!
Just a question....why was the copper flashing left on top of the stone face and not under or at least trimmed down to hide it a little. I realize copper is expensive and a feature, but this looks poorly installed.
window color? if use different stone (oakfield's stonegate), stucco color would be cooler.

It's beautiful like it is; maybe just a beautiful large piece of artwork over the fireplace, but leave the stone unadorned...just my take on it.
