I have been given the opportunity to help design my future house by my Father. We have been thinking and we've decided on stone for the exterior, or at least partly stone. Could you tell me what type(s) of stone you used, and how you built that wall? I would like to replicate that

The stone is reclaimed rubble stone--stone that had been salvaged from old barns that had been demolished, provided by the mason on the job.
Tile is stone tile (slate). Large tiles are 24 x 24. Strips 2 x 16.
I can't be sure about the the actually flooring - the dark stone looks like a bluestone but the range of color suggests something else. The dimensions of those tiles look to be about between 24"x24" since the range

What is the stone used on the fireplace please?
The stone was a blue stone from a local quarry. Thank you for asking.
from the similar material. I am guessing they used 2 1/4" rock faced limestone. Installing a deep stone mantel gets a pit tricky due to the weight. The result is short shelf depth. Just make sure the stone mantel is supported properly.
Like the blue stone and texture...needs a pretty mantle
