What granite is this (name )?
would suggest you go out to a few granite suppliers and view the slabs. You will be sure to find something you fall in love with when you see them in their larger state.
This top is made up of one slab so no joins luckily. Its always good to get the most out of the slab size in order to not have joins/seams
Another similar granite is called via leceta (soapstone look if it is honed or brushed)
Oh and there seems to be a bit of confusion as to the type of granite. It is in fact Cosmic black but some granite suppliers will call the same granite by another name. Some will even make up their own names so
Do u have seams in the granite and if so are they very visible?

What if we used a colored granite and did something like this where the fireplace would really be the focal point in the family room.

countertops....Or use my favorite granite cleaner from Weiman, which is way less work. When we had granite countertops, my last job at night before collapsing into my recliner was always to spray them until they shone.
Possible granite color with antique white cabinetry and burnt orange color walls
The granite in this pleasant kitchen offers a new pattern and ties in with the stove backsplash (which nicely balances the understated smaller tiling). The dark swirls ties in the the dark wood.

what is the name of the granite and what color are the cabinets
What type of edge did you do on the island granite?
Please tell me what granite was used on the island. Thanks.
Wanting to mix granite on the perimeter and quartz island. Having a hard time finding pictures but really thinking about throwing caution to the wind and doing it...who cares if I love it, I guess. I would be mixing slabs of hurricane that looks more like cosmic black w/ an island of stellar night black quartz
I love the combination of double layer granite on the island, with singly layer around the perimeter. This makes me curious, from a "design psychology" aspect is this done this way so the perimeter

Why would you use different tiles, two colors of granite then a different paint color? It looks like different people designed the room and put it together.
Lovely Colors! What is the name of the wood/stain & granite? Tks!
All the granite was cut from the same slab. I promise it is all the same color. The wall tiles form a tone, and the floor tiles form another. Unless you subscribe to Modernism
The dark blue on the walls is a great counterpart to the earth tones in this bath, SW 6237 "Dark Night", egg shell finish. "Downy" SW7002 high gloss is on the trim, door, and the window.

The tile was then set on the concrete board. Lately I have been using less expensive fiber glass or acrylic tubs with integral

Hello. The stone countertop is Alaska White. It is called by other names too, but that is what the slab we specifically selected was named. Thank you for your question.
