idea for study at pool
Love this idea with a study station/desk
another space. A great way to deal with a hallway is to give it a second purpose. Maybe it can be a small study area, a window bench or a place for book storage.
10. A shared study space that works. If your kids share a room, space is probably already tight. So where do you fit that much-needed study
over desk space.Create a Study Space the Kids Will Love

efficient space does triple duty as a school, a home office and a guest room for friends and family. Tip: Maximize your space by aligning furniture against the walls, freeing up the center of the room for reading and creative group activities.
This space has four individual workstations. Matching white cubbies form the bases of the desks, while prefab tabletops laid over the bases create two contiguous setups. Hanging black cubbies give each student additional storage space. All desk pieces: Ikea

Good space for mom or the kids
shared space offers lots of storage, too - an extra bonus.
A great study space for siblings. Suggestive of focus and constructive behavior, but not stuffy.
Shared spaces are not always bedrooms. In this study space, separate cabinets and drawers help to create individual workstations.

interior space creates a stage for thought and imagination. Here books are the wall art, as is the large window overlooking a wonderful old tree. A minimalist fireplace relaxes the space. One could almost overlook the beautiful wood floor. All of these separate elements are woven into a successful and simple
modern study space, and provide a good spot to kick back with an engrossing tome. Which brings us to: 2. Lots and lots of books. Old ones, new ones, a mix — it all works. Sprinkle in a few reference books. (Yes, those still exist post-Internet.) And if you haven't read all of them, we won't tell.
of the space with its central fireplace. One thing our wall of books shares with this one is the change in spacing from large on the bottom to small on the top, so bigger books are closer to the floor and therefore easier to handle.

The feeling of space despite the busyness created by posters etc. also the whiteboard - super handy.
so this space does have a dorm room vibe - it's creative space, even though it belongs to a grownup. But here's where it diverges from kids' space: I love the way the orange and blue-purple of the posters on the wall work together. Plus, the organization of the posters is something of an artful collage
to the space. Arranged thoughtfully, disparate pieces can form a cohesive look that's totally unique to you.
