my husband not confident with the stove paint and wax solution, as he believes it would wear off too quickly and we'd be left with an eyesore - I saw this finish on a concrete bench in an older magazine and thought it might be a good solution... I will look into concrete sealers, like Dry-Treat. Thanks
Wow, never heard of the stove paint and wax solution! Sounds interesting and I would be keen to know how it turns out. This one was polished LOTS of times and then sealed with a concrete sealer. I cant remember the brand, 'Dry-Treat' I suspect. It still

becoming considerably larger and displayed in more prominent places, many solutions for hiding, concealing and otherwise disguising this modern box have multiplied. While that’s one approach, hiding a TV does nothing for a room’s style in and of itself, and let’s face it, the idea is (at some point at least)
I'm not an expert on electronics, but I believe there are solutions for your situation. One is called an infrared repeater or IR repeater. Check with a local electronics store, I'm sure they will be able to help.
keep the temperature low. Also an aluminum reflector isolates bulb from box. I definitely would not use incandescent bulbs. There may be a good LED solution out there that you may find meets your needs. I suggest experimenting a little- that's what we did!- Thanks for your question- Stan
