Those are the Aeonium talked about above. They are succulents and a beautiful contrast to the Arbutus (Strawberry Tree) behind them.

The plants you see here are all Mediterranean dry climate plants. The florida climate is far to humid and wet for these succulents. There are definitely some different aloes and agaves (not shown here) that will do well in the tropical climate
