The plants you see here are all Mediterranean dry climate plants. The florida climate is far to humid and wet for these succulents. There are definitely some different aloes and agaves (not shown here) that will do well in the tropical climate

Don"t be fooled, all plants take some type of maintenance and all containers take editing over time. Succulents are so easy to trim and the bonus is that you get new plants to add to another area of the garden. This grouping is very low maintenance!

They are winter growers and may go into dormancy in summer, especially in extremely warm climates. Aeonium are more tolerant of moisture than other succulents, actually preferring the soil to remain a little moist. Prevent the soil from drying out completely but take care to not overwater. Aeonium do well
