the homeowner replies: Don"t be fooled, all plants take some type of maintenance and all containers take editing over time. Succulents are so easy to trim and the bonus is that you get new plants to add to another area of the garden. This grouping is very low maintenance

Those are the Aeonium talked about above. They are succulents and a beautiful contrast to the Arbutus (Strawberry Tree) behind them.
