I'm wondering how you achieved enough support to hold the weight of a cultured or natural stone veneer like that? Its an amazing hood and so unique!

sizes, I recommend at least 10 if you want to sit. Granite, marble, and soapstone shouldn't overhang more than 12" without support (brackets or corbels of some sort), but with support you could go as large as this image here (24"?).
