Lady Fern Circle Kitchen
Do you remember what microwave you used? I am using the same double ovens but am not crazy about the kitchen-aid built in microwave. it looks like you used a different one. Beautiful kitchen.
Hi Luv this kitchen. I have been asking around about minimum inches needed for walk way space around an island. Wandering what the distance is from the counter top of island to the counter where sink is

Family Room
Can you tell me about the stone on the wall?
I love the stone and color of the stone on the wall. Can you give details about it.
Can you tell me about the stain on the beams?
It is about 18' X 9'11"
This family room is just WOW. The stone wall, light fixtures, walnut floors and everything about this just feels very homey and warm.
Like how fireplace and TV are in different places. Something feels right about this space.

something similar from Maxim Lighting's Luminous collection. http://www.maximlighting.com/proddetail.aspx?itemid=21149SCRE
@mtaq, I couldn't afford the pottery barn mirrors, so I made my own for about $100. Piece of MDF, some mirror adhesive and plain 'ol beveled mirrors that I got from a wedding supply
We purchased this table from Restoration Hardware. Care information can found on their website. I recommend calling their customer service to ask about sealants on their products.
The rug should about 2.5' larger than the table all around.

California Cool in the Castro-Bathroom
months hours at a time browsing various websites....I love the style of this bathroom and am certain it fits the style of my showroom. How can I go about getting a high resolution copy og this photo?
This bath is very pretty. I asked my contractor to do something similar but he is concerned about water damage. How do you water proof - between the tub and the 3 sided walls (above the tub)? the left and right walls are just paint? - between
I love the tub, can you tell me more about it: maker, dimensions?
whether I can indeed put in a shoji screen. I am thinking about it working it in in front of a chimney stack (50's bungalow) but wondered how far back do the bulbs need to be installed so you are not able to see them? Also how does one go about changing the bulbs? I just wanted to comment also that

ohlyuv Any information about the floral tile? Where is it from? Where is the penny tile from? Thank you!
ah. two threads....this one about 'brown glittery' and another about the damask. you're right tho, these are readily available.
they have all sorts of nice ones. If you have a daltile you might be able to get them from there. http://www.maniscalcostone.com/Metal-L2.aspx?CategoryId=5&GroupID=1

who cares about trends it is way more practical to have a separate w/c if you have room. no matter how sculptural toilets are now...
18. This bathroom is all about the glitz. People couldn't get enough of the copper hued tile and the custom damask accents on the wall. The shower is level with the floor of the rest of the room, which opens up the space a bit,. But the tall glass shower door and slanted shower floor keeps water from

space, so don't worry about color trends (unless you really love them). Instead, think about which colors make you feel calm, rested and relaxed. Cool blues and greens are generally calming, while fresh white and citrus yellow can be nice to wake up to — something to think about if you are not a morning
This bedroom manages to achieve that clanging, down-by-the-dock feeling with a navy throw rug and rope pulls on the canvas curtains. It's all about materials; there's not an anchor or a spyglass in sight.
refreshing update with a healthy dose of white and an invigorating infusion of yellow. Ground the look with dark blue and crisp geometric prints.Worried about using white around kids? As long as you stay away from white upholstery, you should be fine. Room elements like walls, lamps and window coverings are

kitchen. It is u-shaped with an island in the middle of the"u". I want to include some glass fronts on the cabinetry however I am not sure how to go about deciding where to put this. Any pointer on how to decide this would be appreciated. The "U" consists of built in pantry with fridge, then stove with
sinks? I'm renovating my kitchen-I definitely want to use an ORB faucet but am debating between a SS and enameled cast iron sink....I wasn't sure about "mixing metals". Thanks!
drywall next wk, electrical tomorrow. I am panicked about it not being enough. if both chairs are pulled out I would think a minimum of 66" would be ideal since most would like the walkway to still be there. I guess if the chances of all being used is about 1 per yr then maybe its not an issue!
