I love the room - question on the white floor. What is that made of? Thanks.
I used the room's door as a reference for my measurements. Measuring from top of the door down 16" = orange stripe; measuring from top of the baseboard up 18" = yellow
transform a room, and a kids bedroom is the perfect room to try exciting color schemes and designs. These horizontal stripes even make the space look significantly larger!
a bright children's room. I love the way this designer has played with horizontal stripes, squares, and circles here. Why not add a light that's a cut off sphere?
Dear American interior designer Amy Lau, you are a genius and I love your teen rooms as much as your non-teen rooms. Again, mid-century

What are the dimensions of this room?
hey there. are those the PB teen seats? are they comfortable? and do they need to be against the wall or can they be in the middle of the room like the roche bobois's? thanks.
trickier! I had a question like this on another version of this photo, and someone mentioned they had seen a low sofa similar to this one at Pottery Barn Teen. We got our inspiration from Roche Bobois. Again, depends if you mean the low sofa, or the actual pillows next to the sofa...;)

We used a soft sheer and had them custom made by our work room.
Teen's room really does have characther
something that truly belongs to the teen. Corrugated cardboard flats painted blue help add texture and character. “The room just didn’t have personality,” Sunshine says. “It needed some kind of texture to give it that. This is an outgoing, young, bubbly girl. The room felt flat, and the texture shows her

This is one of my all-time favorite rooms--with a hand painted spiral staircase
staircase that leads to a study LOFT above! It is such a fun design for a girl's room, and although the accents are not quite "lime" green, this bedding (Anne Rue Interiors) is actually a lot brighter than it appears in this photo.

I love everything about this room.....
especially for sleep-starved teens. Additional pieces, such as a nightstand, a desk, a chair and accessories, can be found in places like thrift stores and through the online classifieds. Look for small pieces that will fit comfortably in the room. Think over a themed teen room carefully, because it tends
Clore exaggerated the height of the headboard to create a major focal feature while keeping in mind the size of the side table lamps. Otherwise, the room would have been out of proportion. When dealing with a large headboard, she says, "it is best to have it centered on a wall or on an architectural feature
