What did you use to hang the map? Are associated hanging products available at IKEA or did you use something else? It looks great!
What type of lights are used to show the wall washing effect?
Yes, it is called Malm. I have it in Birch. It will not fit over a typical "American" bed that uses both box springs and mattress. I've never actually been able to use mine over the bed, LOL, so we've used it in the dining room (dining table is birch also) as a side board.
Full size version, move bed to one wall and use over table against opposite wall as decoration
Use a large map over a bed. If you are a traveler, you can add flags to all the places you have been. This one is a PREMIÄR Map Picture from IKEA.

Unfortunately the vinyl used for these beanbag covers has been discontinued. The bean bag chairs were ordered from the Company Store. My custom workroom then used their standard covers as a pattern for these custom covers.
Great room! Did you use a special trim on the hem on he bed skirt? Is the dresser mirrored? What age child was the room designed for?
These curtain were custom made by my work room using a Schumacher fabric from thier Trina Turk Collection.
All the walls and the ceiling are painted the same Blue Seafoam. That's the beauty of natural light (we used no additional lighting for this shot) - the changing light gives different effects at different points in the day.

What color is used on the ceiling, please?
Wall color, fabric colors (would use stripe for drapes instead of floral)
Love this idea. Not necessarily the colors. But love the use of same patterns and colors but one in a feminine way and one on a masculine way.
