Can anyone comment on the durability of slate? I love the look, but don't want anything that is too fragile in an often used half bath. I am replacing lagos azul limestone, which is too porous. Any comments on durability and recommended sealants for slate would be much appreciated.

Not exactly sure which colors we used, don't have it on file, but the color is from Dunn Edwards and might be Military Green DE5530. We have used Crocodile Smile DE5565 recently (a little brighter) and it looks great! The colors of the stripes
