go all the way to the ceiling
like the round butcher block in kitchen.
it's on the side of the house with the best view. Floors: Antique Oak finish, Home Depot; cabinet paint: Shelter Green, Martha Stewart Living
light in the kitchen, which really bothers me. Soon we'll bust out the wall that separates the bath and kitchen to create a kitchen with views and space to accommodate a farm table. Also, the existing bathroom was once a space with a sink, toilet, tub, water heater and laundry machine — all crunched into
from the floor tile, the shower tile and vanity counter has a soft tone and subtle pattern. An iridescent paint was used to add some drama on the walls.
t was the iridescent paint color?
can you tell me where the vanity light is from?
What tile did you use on the floor? If travertine, what color and manufacturer?
perfect for the room and then had the paint store (BM) add an iridescent additive to it. It's less iridescent that if you used their standard process, but still gives a nice sheen not possible with other finishes.
found the perfect mirror on Overstock.com. You just never know what you'll find there.
Light floor and wall with wood cabinet
clash with the beige in the travertine. The combination I put together for my clients worked because Calacatta marble has some brown veining that coordinated with the tones present in the travertine counter. Hope that helps give you direction.

*the best* floor-to-ceiling windows - the solution of light.
I love the beams and the openness of the space
love the brick with the wood ceiling
Once again the beams could remain constant with the rest of the house. The visibility from the windows would more likely be found in a loft, but I feel as though they add a lot of style to a ranch style house.
The second entry doesn't have to be second best as proved by this beautiful mud room

guessed the Vega Black from Happy Floors because I didn't notice that red in the tile, but it was still just a guess.

red in the tile. However, it's also not completely flat grey, there is a tan undertone. Also, it is textured like a black slate tile. I hope that helps. Here is a link to the tile:

Wow, the Tierra Sol has a lot more red in it on their website
similar floor in the front of our showroom called Kaleido Nero, also from HappyFloors. Our installer said it was one of the best floor tiles he has ever worked with. Very good prices on this brand too!

Love the Lyptus cabinet fronts. Are they custom? If not, could you please share supplier.
kitchen! The new doors and the island came from Scherrs. If you check the comments section of the ideabook, the owner talks about the construction of the doors and how it was to work with Scherrs.
like how the cabnet drops off all the way up the wall.
The contrast of materials the warmth of the wood with the sleekness of the stainless counters.

Real Cork Floors - $10.00 »
Cork flooring is comfortable to walk on, is ecofriendly and looks right at home in a ranch. Just be aware that cork is soft, so it may not be the best flooring choice if you have dogs.
