Family Room
I have a wall of doors/windows like this. They need to be able to open and block the sun at various times of day. There is also a transome above.
What is the material/stone around the fireplace door?
What are the dimensions of the doors? Do they open in or out?
Window Treatments, do they block light
The French doors look like they have hinges on the glass section of the door. Do they open independently from the door? Who makes these?
how would you attach the blinds to a french door.
Since most French doors now are aluminum and don't have a indented ledge, how did you attach them to the doors. Very pretty and helps with privacy. Would love to do this in my DR
Hi Mreed61, Yes, the window part of the door does open independently. I don't know who makes this exact door. Start with Marvin, Pella, etc., and see where that leads. Good luck, Dayna

Big window and door to the backyard, window dressing.

Love the windows and BLack door
Window -- one for my kitchen.
A new door leads out to the backyard. The couple says they wish they had added more doors to the backyard. In Southern California you can spend all year outside; just looking at the yard isn’t enough.

great door. Where does one find it?
Where do you get a wall or door tattoo/stencil such as the one here on the door?
Can you please share info on the door or where to
This door was a found object, and was then custom set in the wood frame.
Can you please let me know where you bought this door?
utility sink idea laundry room door idea
That door would make laundry a bit better
Loving this door into the laundry
love the door that says laundry
envy-inducing laundry room goes from ho-hum to luxe with the use of farmhouse sink and etched frosted glass door.
Get a hint of vintage appeal in your home with a decorative glass panel door. Add words like “laundry” or “office” for a fun detail.
Hide in plain sight with frosted glass doors. Replacing a laundry room, pantry or kitchen door with a frosted-glass version will increase natural light but (most important) keep those laundry piles and dirty dishes hidden

The doors you made are great. Where did you get the track/hardware?
What keeps the doors from swinging when they are opened fully?
Amazing pocket door. What keeps the doors from swinging/banging
Could you please tell me about this pocket door. It is brilliant. Is it a custom design or purchase? Thanks
all our pocket/sliding door hardware. Usually the Hawa or Hawa Junior depending on how much the doors weigh. Hafele makes a very fancy track for telescoping doors. As you pull the first (leading) door, a gear attached to the track pulls the second (following) door until the door opening is entirely closed
The thickness of this wall is 9 1/2" because the doors are each 2 1/4" thick. This is thicker than normal because the doors are so large. A more typical pocket door may be around 6 1/2" thick, although there are companies that sell track kits that can fit in

Connie found the salvaged bathroom door at a local yard sale. To save space Obbie mounted it like a sliding barn door. The mirror over the sink was purchased from Connie’s favorite antiques store in Lewiston, Idaho. “It was gold, which was not my style, so I painted it,” she says. “First with a black

I want French door openings just like the one in the images, however I noticed that you placed the fridge right next to a wall, dose fibs affect it's opening operation?
window/ glass behind the gas range
Are there any issues with heat from the gas range in regards to the window/glass behind it
is window installed on the outside wall? Is the countertop the sill?
I love the look of this window. I'm trying to find out if the window is installed flush with the outside wall, then that would leave a gap (the wall width) between the window and the countertop. So, I'm
right to the window (acting as the window sill)?? I can't quite tell from the picture how it all works. Please let me know I have to order my window very soon and want to make it look the best it can. Thanks. Shelley
