using an adhesive. We use special low modulus adhesives for this kind of work to stop any chance of this reacting with the paint on the backside of the glass. @cyndela, the glass tile that looks greenish comes that color whether it is installed or not. So to answer your question a white adhesive was used, which is typical for light glass colors, so you are correct.
