frame the tile to avoid edge pieces. We did not have any outside corners here. If there is an end I usually fir out the back and round the corner with 1/4 round or terminate into wood trim. The photo shows both. I avoid seeing the thin tile edge.

ceramic tile was from Walker Zanger. The color is a light taupey /celery, although it doesn't appear to be in this photo. This tile has been discontinued.
