A Whole House Transformation

Skeating's question, plus what is the max. capacity the glass can hold? And did you use special grout and backing to keep water from leaking through the tiles over time? Does the surround require any special care? Estimate on useful life of the enclosure before it requires reseating/resealing?
structural integrity of the design, and how long it would be before some seals wore out. also, and i know some people are into simplicity, but i found the tile work to be boring. cool concept though. wish the poster would answer some questions about it. questions i would like answered. 1-is it glass or acrylic
