nice bathroom. What are the floor tiles?
like the bathroom! The floor tile is from Ames Tile (http://www.amestile.com) and is Durastone 12x24 Ash Grey floor tile, 12"x24".
We sourced the teak for this bench from our local building supply store - if you are looking to get something similar, I would suggest talking to your local building supply
teak bench instead of built-in tiled bench.

type of tile and size is used in the bathroom? Thanks.
Thanks for your response. By "fillet" do you mean thickness of the wood? The baseboards look fairly tall - 5" maybe? We are redoing a tired 50's side split which is actually a great living space once it's opened up! Thanks again. Karen

that's your cup of tea. It's just a matter of personal taste.Wood trim can look great in a modern space like this one, where it adds some earthiness and architectural interest to a plain, contemporary room with white walls.

works in your space. The effect of color is so dependent on light, adjoining tones, materials, etc. Before going to the trouble and/or expense of painting a room, you might think about getting some Sherwin-Williams "Color To Go" samples ($5 ea.) and painting a large sample (2' x 3' works well).
