“The tin backsplash is original to the house (I assume) making it from c. 1885. It came from the basement ceiling, and I am fairly sure it was stained black to get that finish.
The countertops are a dark gray/light gray veined marble with profiled edges. It is definitely not Uba Tuba.

“gorgeous ceiling. It almost looks like there's a bit of iridescence but I think that's just the semi-gloss finish. I can suggest similar colors: try Benjamin Moore's Dunmore Cream or Waterbury Cream. Good luck! Post pictures when you're done!”
