What color is the tin on the ceiling? Is it painted or did it come that color?
where the tin would go (where it overlapped, etc.). We then attached the plywood to the ceiling and started attaching the tin based on the markings we made (you use nails that match the colour of the tin). Went very smoothly. The cornice molding was a bit more of a challenge, but the tin ceiling people

we chose the marble tiles. They had a number of choices and we went with the one that matched the best. Hope that helps
