the tile flooring as it pulls everything together. What color and what type of tile is it? Thanks!
and the floors are venantino marble which has the blue gray veining. What colour are your floors in your foyer? Are they dark like your stairs? I would suggest painting a 2'x2' board and leave it in your foyer to view it at different times and differnt places to see if the colour is for you.
yes, the floors are going to be dark antique chocolate or esspreso. Yes I have it painted in the foyer and like you said it is very soft and subtle color and I like it. I try Revere Pewter 50 % lighter and it is really nice too;... sooo now Im really confused .. I like both. Can you give me a hand on this:

e the flooring? what wood color is it?
Yes, you can apply an opaque film that is similar to frosted glass, similar to the technique used to tint auto glass. Look under window tinting in your local yellow pages and ask for frosted glass.

high end wood blinds will withstand the most abuse. Most blinds are maintenance free, they just need to have care taken when raising and closing, as well as not getting banged into constantly! :)

Hello, can you tell me what brand and color stain on the floors was used?
Can I grind and polish a floor that has been sitting for two years?
Hi I was thinking of putting tiles and wood on my floors. can the concrete be ground and polished after sitting for two years?
I'm sorry folks. This was a custom mix. We tried about 6-8 different mixes of standard stains to get this hue. I know we used charcoal and brown in the mix. I try not to use the tinted waxes over the stains because it tends to suck the highlights right out and make

urethane, tinted to match a Porter color called "Phoenix Fossil." I don't know what the wall color is, but if I find out I'll post it!
This is Dave from McMillan Cabinetmakers, and yes, we did make the shelves (and the cabinets). They are of wood with opaque urethane finish. The galley rail and inset
have the floor finisher open up the grain with water so while it absorbed color into the grain, it did not make everything opaque.

Salvaged wood forms the majority of the interior structure and the floors. Light is introduced deep into the house through doors, windows, clerestories, and dormer windows. The house is organized along two long enfilades that order space and invite long views through the building and to the landscape

This answer to the floor question was posted in October. The floor material is a 4" character grade walnut with a clear polyurethane finish. October 21, 2013 at 1:34pm
Just to let you know, there isn't any info on the flooring..... Maybe you didn't
before. The flooring is a character grade, 4" walnut with a natural polyurethane finish. It is a very beautiful floor. I hope the above helps.
