Can you tell me where the bed is from?
Yes, please share where you got the bed or where I can find something similar. Thanks
Any upholsterer can make up a bed like that for you. The desk was vintage
Thanks Debbie -- I missed that. If I could get my husband to make the bed, I could upholster it..... ????
Toddler robot room. Lots of pattern but not too much.
bed... not sure how to make it though... haha
the upholstered custom-made bed, with fun patterns, colors and shapes. We chose robot wallpaper, but stopped short of a robot rug and robot bedding. I think the mix of a little of this and a little of that ultimately will last longer as the child grows."Desk: VintageBedding: IKEA and West Elm (throw

Hello, We had the bed custom made my a metal worker. Thanks
great bed....where did you get it?
Love this soft flimsy look of the tester bed and both pictures on the wall
Love the light dropping in above the bed
Another romantic bed but less froo froo.
love the idea with the bed - keep normal bed with simple head board
Loose SwagsDraping a piece of fabric over the bed frame was likely the easiest and least expensive way to dress this bed. This approach is casual and uses a wispy, reversible fabric, such as a sheer, gauzy cotton.

This bed was purchased in the DC area at a shop that unfortunately closed. Studio Santalla is introducing a new division in 2014, Ernesto Santalla Home, which will featured upholstered beds. If you are interested in a custom bed, please send a message.

good way of placing beds in room to utilize space and gives us second bed for sleepovers
The beds in Alix and Mark's son's bedroom are vintage and were found in Georgetown, SC.
Two twin beds are tucked under the eaves of this room, decorated by Alix J. Bragg. To make the most of the small space, bedside lighting is wall mounted and under-the-bed baskets offer extra storage.

where could I get a bed like this
Is bed custom made? by whom?
Interestingly, the bed was custom made in the the 1800's using panels from the 1400's!
That's an antique bed in an historic home - So you would have to have it custom made, as undoubtedly the original was.
I found the bed at an antique dealer in London. It was "newly" constructed in the 19th century from 15th century ceiling panels.
bed is too small but WOW!
Idea of easy chair in one side of bed
Bed is to ornate but love the rest
ceiling detail in this guest room is adapted form a ceiling in an English estate. If you're thinking the bed frame looks like something from the Renaissance — you'd be right. This one-of-a-kind bed was made in the 1800s using wood panels from the mid-1400s.
