So sorry for the late responses... the lumber is cedar. We got it at a local lumber supply. I think this particular garden would be too low for wheelchair access, but it would be very easy to make adjustments to accommodate.

raised bed garden. The fence is only 4' tall but what keeps the deer out is they pick up all their dog poop around the inside fenced area and place it around the perimeter fence line. The deer smell the poop and know there are dogs inside the fence. They haven't lost one vegetable to deer.
