option with rods as an added decorative feature. The rods look great in this traditional- style entry.
The home's entryway makes a wowing first impression. Bedecking it in wallpaper with a bold, flowering quince pattern brought the traditional foyer up to date.
At first glance, there seems to be nothing out of the ordinary about this lovely traditional entryway. Look closer. That is not the pet dog in the hall. It is a full-size sheep sculpture grazing on the hardwood. LOVE IT.

Traditional but classy, no harsh colours - Perfect for the older couple, very calming
Another room that's really close to what I'm looking for. I appears as if it has sort of foreign influence and gives calm, comfortable, and artistic mood. Amber and Purple ~Amber
Love the country but sophisticated look of this room combined.
the lavender trim in this bedroom. This is a great example of how you can use an unexpected, lighthearted color for the molding even in a traditional space. Look how the linens on the bed tie in with the windows and doors. Brilliant.
ColorsBeige and gray are nice. But so is lavender against a yellow ocher wall. This room is elegant and classic and surprising and unique at the same time. Look for colors that complement each other on the color wheel and pick from those spectrums.

Sitting Room
When shopping for traditional furniture, look for antiques or antique shapes, like a bergère (shown here), wingback or slipper chair. Curvy legs and detailed carved wood are signs of traditional design. Instead of stiff and uncomfortable upholstery, look for down-filled cushions that are more forgiving

Ok, I keep getting questions about color. Color selection is a long process where selections are made and tweeked until they look good on site and with other colors. Find a color consultant in your area. Its well worth the cost. Your results will be more interesting, elegant, tasteful
Traditional Siding look with modern design
The concept of having glass corners in traditional looking house
the tongue and groove cedar siding with a semi transparent stain, but some say hard to maintain. like the look of this house as much as any seen...meets the limit of modern for this neighborhood. Never a blue roof

Expansive Kitchen
is easier on the eyes, but it doesn't go with any of the marble slabs I like as it looks yellow. An arctic white matches, but I'm concerned it may look too stark and bright. I love this kitchen and the cabinets look pretty much like the arctic white to me. Thanks!
home how to I achieve this look and color? Is is more costly?
I am very new to the granite world, out of every kitchen I've seen on Houzz these countertops are my absolute favorite! I looked at absolute black counters
parts of this room look like? Do you have other pics of this kitchen from different angles so we can see the rest of the room design? Thanks!
I love the shades on the windows and how they let a lot of light in! Can you please tell me where to get them? They look golden which I love

ice wreath
Doesn't make any sense, but looks pretty!
Make an ice wreath. I am dying to try this Scandinavian tradition — it looks like the perfect project for a snowy day, and it would look splendid outside at a holiday party. Just fill a container with water, then place a second smaller container inside
