What exact travertine was used from this company?
Thanks! That's a tumbled travertine from a company called Materials Marketing (http://www.mstoneandtile.com). The long "planks" are a cool look.

Marfil slab marble with undermount Marzi sinks. The Kallista faucetry was chosen in chrome since it was an easier finish to maintain for years to come. Other metal details were done in the oil rubbed bronze to work with the theme through out the home. The floor tile is a 12 x 12 Bursa Beige Marble that

above the counter tower? Thanks so much in advance.
Do the upper cabinets sit directly on the marble or slightly above?
Does the marble counter go beneath the upper cabinets? If so, were the cabinets installed before or after the countertop was installed

polish the marble surface and thereby reduce the honed look. That could defeat the purpose of having honed marble. My daughter has honed marble in her kitchen and is going through that same dilemma on her marble counters. Some have been etched by mistakenly using Lysol or allow acidic foods to come in contact
(where the marble falls off the sides.....lovely)
with the marble, (i.e. the juice from freshly sliced tomatoes). If, for some reason, you do decide to use "BKF", do not under any circumstances use the liquid form as it has Oxalic acid in it. s the travertine honed or polished? I don't like those little divets in the tile like travertine usually has -- this doesn't appear to have those so wondering if I just can't see it in the picture or if honed or polished 'erases' them.
Travertine...actually some of the least expensive available
