what is the flowering tree? so pretty
paniculata 'Grandiflora'. It's a fast grower & the only hydrangea that can be pruned into a tree. Grows 10'-20' high & wide, needs full sun, blooms look almost like cones, & can grow in many climates. A beautiful tree for yards.

I did some interior remodeling a year or two ago on this house, going to do some more in 2014. The original part of the house was built in 1928 and has been added on to several times over the years. It's a real "storybook" kind of house!
What kind of tree is the one that's color is pink?
I like the conical roof, the statue in the fountain, the arched door, the flowering trees, etc.

What type of trees are the ones behind to retaining wall.....
Unfortunately I do not know the type of trees used. All plantings were down by an independent landscape firm.
like all except the tree in the middle
like the wall with trees in front
This is waaaay bigger of a pool than what I would want on our land, but the layout and long lines are exactly what I want right behind the house.

evergreen planting in narrow areas. The topiary evergreens at different heights give great structure to the space, while the bright-colored deciduous tree gives a focal point at the end of the brick pathway. In an alleyway a focal point can be essential — you need something for the eye to settle on.

How many square feet are in this house? Is the exterior cement slabs?
The trees by the window gives a feeling of a tree house... How lovely is that?
White outdoor ceiling. Works nicely, brightens the house.
Square shapes, flat roof, windows, terrace, few trees.
I love the way you can see into the house from outside, and I love the shape of the house, and my favorite thing is the patio with the stair case, and it's outside!
