I absolutely love your modern designs! I love the look, however I'm wondering how does that flat roof hold up in Minneapolis? I live 3 hours from there and I'm wondering about all the snow? Thanks!

What is the size of this living space? What is the square footage of the house? Absolutely gorgeous!
What are the ceiling heights? 8' for the kitchen and 9' for rest of house? Are those decorative or load bearing beams? Are the dimensions showing roughly 6x6? Thanks!
Lakehouse that has a fabulous view but the ceilings are 8'. How high are these ceilings and the ceiling in the kitchen. Thanks and this is a beautiful design!

For the front of the house
that can make it if you could give the proper size dimensions that match the scale of the house. The idea is to make this area dramatic. The roof line, walls and door should appear as if it will lead inside the house, but it would actually open into an outside court yard area that leads to the front door

Farmhouse Addition
Old with new, didn't care for the dark, juxtaposition of modern and antique architecture is nice
i don't like the clashing affect... but it could be designed to look good with old/new styles
the primary goal of this type of addition. It’s important to also consider the exterior spaces this type of addition creates. Consider using the architecture to shield winds, gather sunlight and reinforce interior-exterior connections. Barns have always been positioned to do this on farmsteads.
On the opposite side, the roof wraps down onto the wall plane (again a thin wrapper).Stretching outward, the proportion reads as a barn, housing the new master suite and living room, but the architects have pushed the definition of what a barn can look like. They’ve indicated the historical

1. Sweeney Lake House, MinneapolisThe facade of this home is striking and clean. Two materials, two windows with parallel geometry and an opening that is obviously the entrance. What would you imagine the interior to be, based on this facade? The answer largely determines the home's authenticity.
The handsome composition of this Minneapolis house initially appears elementary. However, the balanced asymmetrical exterior view achieves its complex harmony through highly contrasting materials, careful and thoughtful proportions, and a restrained landscape. Notice how the beauty of the stained
