is there a TV behind the doors? Is it OK for outside conditions?
I have a similar setup, cabinet and fireplace almost identical. But, we did not think it entirely through. We are stuck as to where to place the cable box.
There is a TV behind the doors Isc62! The TV compartment is completely covered by the exterior roof structure and there is no gaps to let in water. This application is not recommended
I could use something like this to enclose my outdoor tv.

Did you ever find a similar cabinet I am looking for this size also. THANKS
Hi housesus! Kim purchased the TV cabinet years ago at TJ Maxx. She also painted the cabinet and added bead board to the interior of the doors! Hope this helps! Corynne

I like the idea of the doors to cover the tv.
Instead, you'll need to order these from a woodworking site such as Rockler. Another option is a lift, which allows you to hide the television in a cabinet and raise it when you want to watch.

What size TV is in this cabinet and how far on each wall does it come out?
where do I purchase this cabinet?
The TV is a 42" plasma. I don't have the exact dimensions on the distance. I estimate each side on the upper corner cabinet to extend along the walls about 36"-38" from the corner.
Regrettably the drawings are packed away in storage. The TV is a 42" plasma. The base cabinet doors
doors project about 8 inches beyond the front of the TV. The sides of the base cabinet are likely just shy of 36".

Hi, love the fireplace tv combo. Beautiful work. Would love to learn the name of the stone and where it is from.
I have mounted the TV on the wall but I've a table under it for the cable box. Any suggestions? Thank you for the wonderful ideas.
Is there a way to use this for an outdoor tv?

You can also hide the TV in a cabinet or piece of furniture. In this room the TV is sequestered behind a pair of doors over the fireplace — much nicer than looking at a big, black screen 24/7.
