How difficult is it to install a TV on a brick mantle and still have a gas firplace insert installed?

fireplace is low enough to put TV without TV being to high up. Also dark area of fireplace helps balance dark turned off TV

Yes, a tv can be placed over a wood burning fireplace. The wires are usually hidden behind trim work. My guess is the wires go up, behind the crown molding
