This room is a perfect square. 9'-5" x 9'-5". Visually pleasing is subjective, but if you need drawers in your vanity and space in the shower, I'd say I wouldn't go much smaller.

Hi could you tell me where you got the vanity and what size it is? Thanks
the top is wood and just has a sealer. you still need to be careful in a high use bathroom with an all wood vanity. We do not suggest this for high traffic areas.
This vanity is larger than you require, but it was custom made. You would not be able to have the doors and the cubbies in the size of yours. The counter height

The opposite side of the master bathroom. Built-in mirrors give an expansive feel. Medicine cabinets and vanity lights are blended into the environment.
I were to use a similar layout to this part of the bathroom with a tub/shower combo and the toilet next to the vanity, do you think it all would fit? I would probably not need a double vanity but would like something with more counter space.
I see the width of the room is 5'6" from a precious post, can you tell me the length? Is the toilet on the same wall as the vanity?
Yes, you can fit. you need about 3 feet for the toilet, 4' ideally for the shower/tub, and the remaining 4 feet for the vanity. If you wanted more vanity, you can shrink up the toilet area to 30" and the shower/tub to 3'6".
