ddelora: I hear ya! Same thing happened to me and I will never use allow anyone to use it in my home again.

I wish Houzz had covered exterior paint, as well. I painted a gate with Benny Moore's Aura Exterior in October, 2013. Started peeling off in April. Very disappointing! I'm going back to Behr.

Absolutely stunning room. So many people shy away from colour - then wonder what's missing in the room. It takes a talented designer to pull this bold and beautiful colour together. Jennifer used neutrals for most of the pieces, it's really just the draperies and accessories that are strongly coloured, and can be easily changed. I love that she mixes high and low cost items and even took the time to use the rest of the wallpaper for the ceiling in the other room. Bravo for a wonderful job, I'm sure the clients are thrilled!

Mostly presented pictures are designed for CONVERSATION in mind not living. Who is seating for face to face conversation every evening?
Design your living room only for your family, not for entertaining, guests…because you/family must be comfortable at least 350 days a year. If LR is small, more likely the house is small and you have to have it fully functional with minimum furniture, for example sofa, a small ottoman, book case which can be used for books, décor, and small TV if you have no other appropriate space on wall, side table or coffee table 2 tire a must, to keep games, magazines on bottom shelf and use top (presented tables are waste), maybe for PC or laptop desk height table if you don’t have spare room, or want see sites your kids/teens surf, that’s all. In such room you can read, browse through magazines, surf on Internet, watch TV, do yoga, and if you need extra seats for guests, not a big deal, you can bring in dining chairs in such occasion.
Love seat is not an option, such a waste of space. Family of 3 need full size sofa. With 1 guest love seat also tight (mouth to mouth conversation), while on sofa you keep distance. Two armchairs actually cover the same area as sofa due to space between two. Did you notice that many smaller pieces in the room look more crowded than 1 bigger piece? No-no for sofa without back, while room can look less stuffed it’s not comfortable therefore a useless piece you can’t afford to have.
Built in shelving also not a good idea, needs change, so small space should be very flexible for different arrangement.

Maybe it's just me but I need a rail where I don't feel I'm gonna fall off! I like the idea of these transparent ones but too many are too scary!
