- I live for modern design. Raised by DIY-enthusiast parents, I was assisting in their home renovation projects before adulthood. My own home has now been in renovation for over a decade and has been victim to countless design styles and paint layers. There are not many home improvement projects that I have not undertaken on my own or friends' and families' homes and none that I am not willing to undertake at least once.

- In December 2009, the wind began blowing a different direction and I knew my house had to shed its French-traditional skin and take on a more minimal, light-hearted, contemporary one. So in January 2010, the metamorphasis began with the kitchen and will end with the master bed and bathrooms at the opposite end of the house some time next year in 2012. I spend hours each week researching products and sifting through myriad inspiration images in books, magazines and online. The most informative and inspirational of which, is in the Houzz.
