Perlick makes a line of outdoor refrigeration products. We have a Perlick under counter beverage refrigerator and under counter wine preserve in our indoor kitchen and are very satisfied with them. If we had an outdoor kitchen, we would choose Perlick.

Some of these kitchens are VERY close to the house, I would think the smoke from the grill would enter the house unless all the windows are closed and people are not entering to use a bathroom. Also when you build in a grill and need to replace it....what if you can't get the same size? I love the Big Egg bbq and the idea of a real pizza oven.

I saved some of these ideas, but overall, I am still a fan of the old fashioned brick and mortar (or stone) BBQs, and smokers. They just last forever, were low maintenance, and they remind me of the great family gatherings I knew as a child.

I recommend a brush comb for cleaning brushes. My best advice? Avoid the temptation of climbing a ladder with a gallon can of paint in hand.

A couple of tips I forgot to mention:
1) I wash &save the Styrofoam trays that meat comes in for small paint jobs. Such easy clean up. When finished just throw away the tray.

2) I use disposable paint rollers, but hate to use a new one if I have to second coat a room the next day. Just place the roller, handle and all, into a plastic bag. Wrap the end of the bag tightly around the handle and store in the refrigerator. Works like a charm.

A top quality brush (Purdy, Wooster) will allow you to get a straight line; you do need a "steady" hand, but the brushes are key. Also, not putting too much paint on the brush is critical. In my opinion Frog Tape is the best - no paint gets under tape.. again, not having too much paint on the brush when painting over the tape is the key to success. I haven't used the brush cover, but routinely wrap stretch tite around the brush to save it for the next day. It works very well. Take the author's advice and buy top quality products -brushes, rollers, paint. It makes a big difference.

I love the where's Waldo game. The same bowl of lemons is on the porch and in the kitchen. The off-white baskets at the end of the three single beds are in the photo above it stacked next to the wardrobe hutch. The same lanterny thing on the stool next to the bed in the master bedroom is sitting next to the stacked off-white baskets next to the hutch. Did we get them all yet?

We once had what we thought was a lovely ceramic rooster prominently displayed in the kitchen. It was something everyone seemed to notice and comment on. Rooster this, rooster that, yada, yada, yada, until one day, a woman friend of ours who grew up on a chicken farm informed us it was a hen.

I would like to buy the Floral spoon rest. Pier import don't list it. I think it will look beautiful with the Flower Market MacKenzie-Childs canisters Thanks
