Love the idea "to make the structures appear like shadows in the forest". A beautiful and restful effect (see 6th photo from bottom).

as mentioned, all have some noteable attributes. For myself,I like the white rock house - the ceiling and design are timeless and reminiscent of a Scandanavian feel. I can see a dinner party with the outdoors lit, candles, and lots of ambiance. Cozy, even tho the room is large. Love all the storage as well. To me, it is a dining room for entertaining in a style I embrace.

Hi 'needshave' great remarks (though curious which is the universal gym?). Every 'designer' brings adventure and personality to each project. Here they are D/R's and I get your point but stylistically the elements which define each space also compliment the dwelling they are located in, and provide flexibility to other uses especially if the 'home' has limited 'public space'. Personally 'I' prefer this flexibility only because of my own experiences with home ownership. One thing I have 'vowed' to myself is never allow a 'trophy room' in my home again (the one that's under-used). This happens because it's a lack of personal availability to entertain, so 'my' lifestyle has become casual at home, 'style' has become paramount and function is what it 'becomes'. So, in reference to the comments here they are 'well received' by me when clarifying the 'needs of my Clients' which I do. BUT I've now added 'extra notes' to present (luckily, I'm hired for what they know of my work) I'm 'flexible' but an old dog can always learn 'new tricks', LOL!)

I really like the small space residence. The unique window treatment creates a niche for the sofa and the screen serves as an interesting and functional background for the chair.

Country house was just harmonious, not pretentiously trying to be trendy or unique. It was just well-done and elegant.

I voted for True Panache because I love color and prefer beds without footboards. But I'd severely declutter it and do the walls in a single bold color or two. In real life I'd be more likely to have the White Bedroom minus the lilac ceiling, the shag rug, and the dark modern armoire or dresser or whatever it is. Love the unembellished windows, wall art, and bench!
... and oops, I did it again, responding to yet another ancient thread.

I voted Traditional Master as it looks more warmer than the rest plus I like the inbuilt closet area, I also like North Laguna Traditional too as I prefer brown furniture.

Circle, I couldn't agree more!!!! Everyone is so worried about what's on trend, they just go with the herd and don't do what they love.....unless they love black, white and shades of gray. I wonder if because that's all they see out there, then they think they love it. But when the next new trend comes around, they suddenly love that! Jessica, I also agree with you! I have my cookbooks one of my counters........I use them all the time!

Oh my, those Red Sinks are such a winner! I couldn't even look at the others because my eye was drawn to that coolness. Sigh.

@jenniferbbronson there is a pantry off the kitchen where the refrigerator, microwave and dry goods live. There is also hidden cabinets in the island for china and serving and various other enclosed shelves.

Since the kitchen, dining and living room are contiguous, upper cabinets would have made everything feel like a workspace.
