My2scents: Do us all a favor and don't use a pocket door in you next remodel or house. Sometimes, because of design and space they are the solution .. they have been used for centuries to close off rooms .... mostly for heat. You can get great hardware and make them work .. and in many situations they are better then hinged doors .... a great example is a double set to close off a dinning room or library.

I have never had a door come off the track using good hardware .. and using single boxes electric can be accommodated ... as someone else stated .. using a 2x6 wall fixes all of the above .. I use 1.75 7' doors.

I would never know these were one in the same kitchen. Looks like you added an additional room to the space...great job!

I looked at them all....best one is Quartzmaster Calcutta grey. I looked at it next to authentic marble and it was so much close than silestone lagoon,Lyra or ceaserstone London grey or frosty carina.

The house looks great. The tree hides a large part of the house making it seem unbalanced. Removal of the tree and addition of some lower bushes and shrubs would look great. In the front nice flower beds would provide nice color. Possibly a pathway through a garden in the front with a nice bench. These would make the yard look very nice. The porch's shadow makes the front doorway very dark. Lots of color in that area whether with paint, furniture, and/or plants would brighten the area up. Good luck with whatever your plans may be.

Fix crazy cracking concrete steps at entry, find the perfect family/pet friendly flooring that is comfortable as well, create cozy covered area on back deck.

Our house is just being built, and yes, it already has a bucket list:
1. Lush, interesting landscaping;
2. Neighbor friendly front porch furnishings;
3. Finally getting another dog.
Oh, and cleaning fairies.

1. Install a backsplash just behind the kitchen sink area, 2. Remove grungy carpet from the hall (where the laundry closet is...hence the grungy) and install tile to match the entry and kitchen floors. 3. I don't have another for the condo, but would like a small shoulder tattoo for my 70th birthday.
