Yes! That's the problem I have with it...too much going on! Thank you for weighing in! Would you keep the white trim color with the mortar wash or do a dark tan trim?

Thanks for all the great suggestions! This is the first time I've ever posted, so I am excited at how helpful you all are! I love this website even more! I appreciate the picture ciscomom4 posted bc it gives me a better idea of what mortar washing or painting would do. Do you have any suggestions on which method would be better? I agree I need to spice up the landscaping too. The front of the house gets full afternoon sun, so it has been hard to keep flowering plants going. Any suggestions there?

Adding color in the form of bigger taller plants would help too.

A big tree in yard on brick side. Would add interest. You might hire a landscaper, to help with a better design on your front yard.
