haha, I know. I feel like the sea salt is so much more airy than this color here though. I think since we have very little natural light, the house feels dark.

SW Sea Salt is a light grayish green that I think would look very nice in any room. If you're not sure about using it, you could try SW Revival Sea Green that is a few shades darker so you'd have a more dramatic feel to your rooms.

thanks Brandi! what type of light fixture would you recommend for this space? the ceiling is REALLY high even though the photo doesn't show all the way up. It must be at least 18 feet. Also, since its white and silvers, I have a hard time coming up with a color scheme. I'm used to browns and naturals. Any ideas would be really appreciated. thank you!

maybe this kitchen just seems small because I have four children that like to help me cook ;-)

do you like the blue? I love the blue! And I think that it is enough color, just perfect! The light fixture is fine, but if it is not really floating your boat, that is where I would splurge in this space.

. I would keep the beautiful window,,, change the light fixture... The one studio10001 suggested on the left is a great choice. I love the color SW Refuge if you want a change from what you currently have.... Apple green accents with the refuge paint color... Love it!

Haha I suppose you're right! The photographer happens to be my husband, who is also the general contractor. He wears a lot of hats! But he's definitely a better contractor than photographer...

I'm so sorry I gave you the wrong information, I went to check our records and its actually Arandis Granite, we purchased it from Capital Granite in Minneapolis, but slabs will vary so its best to look at your local granite supplier to see whats available. I attached a picture so you can see a close up of the sample. Hope that helps!

Hi Solara...I wanted to tell you that I thought it was very nice of you to be so forthcoming with information, not too many designers are willing to share information. Actually most of them to do not share any information.

Hi Klan, thank you for your nice comment. What would be the point of putting things on the Internet without the obligation of answering questions! That is how I feel. It's a big world out there so why not share knowledge . I entered a Contest for Sub-Zero & Wolf and there will be an open vote to the Public here on Houzz. I am also on Facebook. I hope you "like" me!

The granite is called Madera Gold. And the color was Benjamin Moore Linen White to be more specific.
